How to get a job being trained by then working for a trading firm???

RC,

Good to see back.

Which was a major factor in the split with the Bolsheviks in 1904. We know all too well what followed - slaughter, starvation. I'll look further into this.

Grant.

LOL --- "slaughter and starvation" is not enough ? You need to look further ?

sorry but it reads funny ha ha !

Belflan,

These are funny and illustrate why amateurs, lacking a professional training, should leave well alone. It's a lack of respect for complex machinery.

Unfortunately, our enthusiasm is not shared on T2W (put it down to fear), so it's a two-way dialogue. Let's kill it with the smug self-satisfaction of the expert.

Grant.

A Shopping Trolley you Steer

enough already! mental

That was pointless. It isn't like they are difficult to control when you're not sitting in it. If he had got in it and steered, then fine. I was expecting some kid to jump on it and take it down a winding road. It is of course the next stage in evolution:

1) the shopping trolley: no control over direction
2) the steerable shopping trolley: can navigate a corner; problem with high centre of gravity
3) the low-C of G steerable trolley: can navigate a corner, no problem with high speed corners or hitting stones; lacks comfort
4) the low-C of G steerable trolley with a seat: problem is what happens on the flat?
5) the low-C of G steerable trolley with a seat and a small engine

So, in maybe 5 years time, they'll invent low-C of G steerable trolley with a seat and a small engine. We could call it the continuous shopping trolley. No, that's too long-winded. How about the continuous shopping cart. No. Still too long. Ah, the continuous cart... hm still a bit of a mouthful. Ah ha!
