Hi everyobody.Ive been reading this forum for some time and now I decided to start actively participating with our discussion.As a first question,I wanted to ask you about the Graduate/Trainee careers in banking and finance.
I have a 2.2 BSc in business studies and a MSc in Finance from a top 15 Uni graduating couple of months ago.Because of my 2.2 I cant really apply to the big banks as their requirements are way to high,and I am not eligible.
I want to start applying to Mid-Cap - Smaller financial institutions in London and across the UK. These companies do not have structured schemes and I dont really know how to approach them.
They have a website and some contact details without any recruitment section.How do you approach this companies?do u send a CV + C.Letter and after couple of days call them ? Any ideas or experiences from people who have been there or have an idea on how to approach smaller companies will be really helpful.
