hey all .............sorry to the many that email me for advice and mentoring ..........perhaps when I am a little less busy with my consulting work

I trade forex by watching the price action of the currency indexes

nothing more , nothing less

you will find shedloads of stuff now on strengthmeters and currency meters now on yuotube and the web and the big forums ( believe me there was nothing 15 years ago when I started using this approach)

but I have found no one that trades them like I do .............:smart:

I have never seen many many traders fading the over bought and oversold meters .....and many chasing momentum .....and charging $$$ 000 for the indicators and systems .........mostly very very average as well regarding the accuracy of the algoritms and the lack of knowledge from the trainers ....blind leading the blind mostly ..........but don't get me started .........

but that's still really kindergarten ...............you miss so much its untrue .........but you will do ok.......

(I seem to get stick here at T2win from people believing thats what I still do ?? .....but as I keep telling them I don't anymore.....its the learner slopes and great for training so I leave a lot of the history and links on this thread for people to learn and train .......but I personally evolved from the basics long long ago ..... )

as part of the evolution .....I also had to completely restructure my approach for scalping , and picked up more strategies along the way ...........so thanks again to F for some great advice and ideas that really helped my systems ........quantum leaps in last 2-3 years ....

we are all eternal students in trading

ok as I leave its a little unclear on the next usd plays ..........I would comfortable hammer sells and buys where the key S/R levels are .....once you get conformation of breaches

I would probably look to the big mover currencies so far today to lead me into anything else using usd as the secondary currency for trades until it offers more clues

so the euro is a permabuy as it bounces ...........yen and gbp sells

USD goes mega bull ............yeah !!!!!!

morning all

usd had a screamer yesterday ...40-50 pips off the days lows were achieved

Asian was aggressive bull as well ..........its trying to retrace into London (expected )

i'm timed out now on further screentime due to work commitments but would continue to go bull on USD until key Support lines were breached

SELL Europe
BUY YEN

good trading

ive attacked the USD on buy bounces since around 6am ...............Europeans sells and also AUD at times

made money .............notice they were mainly key times a well.........cant ignore the F factor !

back 2 mins .............well cmon you all got till 8.45 to keep buying the usd ................that's not bad is it ?

then Dumpo .............that always puts a crimp in my sails unless I have a blockbuster Currency to force me into changing direction early on USD

I would have started selling it but again it would have been other currencies that drew me into game

as discussed earlier the AUD and even the Cad were having good bull sessions generally ...........GBP went Bull London around 9.30 so perhaps a play from there .........

not perfect but up to 8.45 I would have been racking them up

jees the usd resold and dug deep didn't it in London session ? :whistling.....

it found bottom at yesterdays low for the day .............then stormed back

overall us session has been excellent

buying USD , Yen EURO and GBP

Sell the others ..............Sorted !

remember the euro and the chf are the hard sells so far London (and Asian) ..........

popped in for 2 mins ..............heres what I see

USD - Bear Asian / Flat London / nice bull drive so far usd ....BUY

YEN - Bull now like USD - BUY

AUD - Bull all the way .......may take hits soon though ?

Euro / CHF ........back selling now - SELL

others are mixed views so avoid until more clarity comes .......

most days should see some currencies getting 50 pips moves off the days opens....

today we are around usd max selloffs to -40's and cAD , AUD & Yen have got to only late +20;s pipwise so far

US session will push this further.............cant commit to what currencies will deliver though.....although the AUD and Yen are still trying to breach their 20 something highs and the CHF is storming south now !!!

the week now under pressure chart 2

today the bear Asian is slowing into some possible support finally early London

my current thoughts are buy usd .......I think we have 10-15 pips here poss before any real bear pressure again
