even without the current volatility [vix at 80] binaries have usually been impossible to close out. binaries is closer to a casino.

watching the 1 min charts [the only charts with reasonable stops at the moment] they move faster than the human mind so it must be machines trading with each other. i'm beginning to think of using vix as a filter. if its over 50 keep out?

I can't wait for Simon to come here and tell us how brilliant they are. Come on Simon, tell us how great you are. :cheesy:

its ok for me. without cs i would never have got into trading at all. for people learning on 1ppp i can't see the problem. if you go over 5ppp maybe things change and one needs to move to ig or somewhere?

Yes, trading with CS during an extremely volatile market is at times hard. However, it has improved some during the past two days. My choice is to trade with them during market conditions when they perform well. Honestly, many SB have problems executing flawlessly during these extreme market conditions. When volatility is going through the roof it might be a better choice to be restrictive in one's trading with SB or go DMA.

i've had to drop down to 1 min charts from 15min [stops would be too big]. with vix up to 80 one cannot call these normal market conditions? professioanls like ira epstien [see youtube] are finding it untradable and keep saying they want the volatitily out.

e.g on my system ftse 1m chart stops used to be 3-5 pts. now they can be up to 50pts.

Just playing around with a demo of CS, put in trade to buy 1gbpusd, got message saying something like "order not executed please try again" so did, got message again, then finally third time it dealt, then looked at P&L to see i was £60 wrong! it had dealt three times.

So i tried again and got the same message, then as i was reading it i got filled.

Is this just the demo account or is it like this live as well? Wouldn't fancy risking any real cash if the system behaves like this!

Thats scary, imagine if you're putting on decent size, before you know it you could be long and wrong(or right but i doubt it) of loads!

I was tempted to put a few quid in with them just to trade small GBPUSD so the extra £70 sign up binus would've pepped up that account, but on this evidence it'd soon be gone!

That's why you should only do £1pp with them, a small price to play for the pleasure of constantly moaning :)

P.S. Simon I am literally less than 2 minutes walk away from your office, always happy to do consultation on improving your customer experience for an all expenses paid night out in For Your Eyes Only.

Does anyone know if we're ever going to see the return of OCO orders to CS? I emailed them about 2 months ago and they told me it was down for maintenance, and would be back up.

I get the feeling it will never return!

CS Joke

I went long EuroSwiss June 09 on monday. It took over 1 minute to fill the trade. I went to close today via the platform for profit. On both occasions I got a "your request is being processed" message both times I did not get filled.

The market then switched to phone only. I called and spoke to some chap called Henrik. I was told that they were going to deduct 23 points from my profit because THEY had the June 09 price mixed up with the December 08 price and I should have known that I was trading the December 08 price.

The amusing point is that one of their own DEALRS called FANFAN filled the trade so it wasn't the bot. Surely, FanFan would have realised that this guy is taking a December08 price so should/would have rejected the trade. Did I get a rejection....hmmmm no.

This lot are laugh a minute !

It is amusing to me these guys are allowed to operate. Some overexcited moderator even tried to ban me for telling Simon he was a lying * and need to sort it out. Pathetic really.

By the way, expect Simon to come here and tell us how brillinat CS is. The man has no integrity or shame.

On the other hand, it is free moaning for us, so it is not all bad.:D
