Average Daily Profits

Hello,
I am being honest, I trade only indices,mainly ftse and dax.I donot touch DOW as it is too volatile for
me.I was working in the Forex Sales area for 2-3 years and i ended up building huge debts for various reasons like family,education loans,credit cards....I went home and had a serious thought about my debt situation.Though i am well educated in a prestigious university there was no way i could have repaid the debt from working for a company,no matter how big they are. So i jumped into spread betting. Oh! yes. I knew this industry, so it is not like i jumped into an ocean full of sharks!
but i struggled and struggled and struggled.Attended every free seminar available on this land.Stopped eating out!

Having made every mistake in the book,now i am emotionally a bit stable,Cleared every debt we owned as a family, overall peace of mind and loads of free time, of course I can sleep in the night!

How much i make per day? My target is £200 aday or About £4000 a month + or - I have been able to achieve my target for the last 2 years or so.

Was i boasting or irritating anyone? That was not my idea. The message is it is possible to make a living out of spreadbetting provided you have the knowledge, discipline, single minded focus and not a moaning wife!

Is anyone going to disclose what they average daily profit / loss is say for the last 2 - 3 months ?

i started trading about a year ago, wasnt that experience, was trading forex and was making £300-500 a day, by trading small lots, as i got greedier i jumped into bigger lots and got wiped out, learned my lesson, got more education and am trading oil/gold and GBP/USD, since a few months now and have been making around £500/day by trading small contracts.

Well, I for one, like stories like that. They say scared money can't win, but you were obviously under a lot of pressure at one time and came through. Well done.


I'm sure that a lot of the secret is not being greedy, but human nature being what it is...

Up about 480%, four hundred and eighty, since I started writing covered calls about 14 months ago. Longest held stock, 3 months. Once stock did become a takeover target where the stock price moved about 3:1 and the options were not in parity and that was beautiful.
