Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

There's no way to forecast these days. Thats me for the week. They need to settle down with these prices. It's essentially becoming random noise.

In the pre-opening, European indexes traded with some gains. Initially, investor sentiment will be influenced by the the words from the Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, who said that this institution is ready “to take any action to support the economy.” These words were not a surprise but served to ensure investors’ expectations regarding the Central Bank stance. However, Standard & Poor’s reduced the rating of the European Union from “AA +” to “AA” with a stable outlook, due to the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union. In principle, EU stocks should not react significantly to the various data that have been published in Asia.

FTSE Should know whether this will pump or not in the next 15 mins (needs to get to 6570-5) imho

FTSE much more conservative today - not pumping with US atm. Bulls covering long positions?

Lots of mucking around 6560 zone - above 6570ish going up, below 6540 going down. Orders in, stops placed. lets see.

Still holding but will scratch if can't break 6550

Scratched earlier. Put order in earlier to go long above 6575 and short below 6540, bowing out @6580. Nothing doing. Strange old week that I'll remember for a long time! Have a good weekend all.

ftse above 6600...going back to bed....these idiots.....we're entering earnings season...how the hell are these companies going to explain their per share earnings....at least the U.S. markets know that last quarter was bad enough. Truly hilarious

Asian indices extended the end of the rally last week, despite the uncertainty generated by the inconclusive outcome of the elections in Australia. In fact, from the results of the polls, no party can form a stable government, coming up just a phase of negotiations. Rating agencies have warned that the political deadlock is prolonged, the financial rating of Australia (which is the highest in the three largest agencies) may be revised downwards.

Nice to see FTSE showing some grit, european indices crashing, FTSE restrained and controlled.

FTSE After this am sell off from 6550 and profit taking yesterday. Looks like market will push back to that level and beyond, looking for some L momentum to jump into, possibly after pullback. Aware some news could upset the applecart though. Lets see.
