    Who's looking to Short GOLD???

Yup, plenty of support at $1065. I can not see gold dropping below there. Irrelevant to me though, I am not concerned with these short-term movements and I am holding for the long-term (5-10 years). I do not believe we are at the end of the gold run as is looks bullish long-term.

    Gold

Not the end of the bull run. Just a downside day. We have been in a bull market for the past 10 years with plenty of days where gold has dropped. This is all to do woth the euro, among other factors. US looks in worse shape as they seem to want to continue with the stimulus and the Keynesian...

Could the Weimar Hyperinflation Happen Again in America?

If you can't work it out for yourself I am not sure I should bother, especially when you post like ipso facto you are correct. Modern definition is that inflation and deflation tend to relate to prices. In the long run changes in the money supply tend to equate to changes in price, but the...

The lunatics are back in charge of the economy and they want cuts, cuts, cuts

The OP must be some sort of loon that thinks the answer to being in debt is to borrow more. His posts look like they were written in crayon.

Could the Weimar Hyperinflation Happen Again in America?

LOL bigman, I didn’t think you were that ignorant. Re money supple and prices, there is a difference. Firstly, I think in terms of money supply. The government has messed around with the CPI throughout the years that it is crap for the purpose of historical comparisons. With regard to the...

N Rothschild, How are you defining inflation and deflation? Money supply or prices? If you answer this then we can have a discussion.

Prop Firms/Individuals trying to rip me off?

Hi WackyPete, Thank you for your reply. I might just deposit some money at home and try to learn the ropes there. I am new to trading so it will be a long road. However, I have made some good money investing adopting a buy-and-hold strategy. I guess I like investing using solid fundamentals...

Prop Firms/Individuals trying to rip me off?

So many prop firms seem so keen on selling you a ‘trading course’ where the cost is pretty high (around 3k). Is it all just a con? I realise that at a prop firm you are risking their own capital, but there are plenty of stages to get through before that happens. Plenty of firms want you to put...

    FX Trader Adventures

Interesting. I am only new to trading so was just stating my opinion from what I have observed (in a limited sense). I am just finishing university and can’t wait to get into the real world. University seems quite biased as you tend to learn how some people believe it is impossible to beat...

I want to go one further. Is TA even worth the bother? It doesn't fit in with my intuitive instinct. I would much rather trade on solid fundamentals. TA seems good for getting your broker rich....
