Pretty much the same sentiment and excitement as when gold first traded towards $1000 a few years ago. There was an initial sell off, but gold is now up 50% from those levels. I see no reason for silver not to roughly repeat this pattern, except with higher volatility (perhaps down 50-70%...

If by some miracle silver trades back down to $20 in the next year or so that will probably be the best buying opportunity of our lifetimes. The risk reward at those levels will be excellent.

Well provided it is a genuine edge and you can scale it up successfully then it all looks promising. Unfortunately, given that you have already made 2 mistakes in 11 trades dropping your win rate from 91% down to 73% and you are risking insignificant sums of money I would not count on scaling...

Why don't you just forward test it? That way you will actually get useful information about whether it will work or not. Forward test it on a demo account for a month or two, then try it live. Bear in mind that if it is a scalping system (which I am guessing it is since you use 1 minute charts)...

Yes you can get way better than that. You can get a setup that is profitable over time. That's all that matters.

This was true, but with the recent (a month ago?) expansion of avertising standards' mandate to include online adverts as well as tv, billboards, radio etc expect this to change (slowly) over the next few years. Generally all they do, however, is make the company withdraw the specified advert...

Ok mackdaddy, if this is a viable method can you show us a chart for the coming week that has an entry signal based on this system- ie. can you show us an entry looking ahead instead of with hindsight of a perfect chart?
