Does the trend of the 3 MAs matter? I'm currently looking at cable and the 4hr and 5 min prices are above the MA but the 1 hr price is below. The 4hr MA is gradually rising, the 1hr MA is descending and the 5 min MA has bottomed out and starting to rise again. Thanks. Duncan

I hope all those who were looking to go long either didn't trigger or cut their losses, it's been all downhill today.

Aren't some of you falling into the trap of "I've had a bad week, I just need to tweak the system slightly and all will be well"? So constantly changing and never settling on a system long enough to see if long-term it is a winner?

Arrived late and got out early for +12. I thought it was going to continue south so quit while I was ahead. Added to +20 overnight on USDJPY will suit me for the day.

Who did you sign up for to do your demo trading with Wagtail? Or is that really your $50K ??? I'd like to demo an idea I've had and like the stats that myfxbook can provide.

Anyone know if there is any major news out today? I know there is a site detailing announcements but I can't be bothered to wade through the almost 500 pages this thread has grown into.

I'm still in - had an early start so didn't use the correct NT entry point. If it helps I could go short now, with my current form that would almost certainly cause a sudden rise past 15300.

If you're trading above the minimum £1 per pip can you adjust your size through a deal ticket and effectively close off a portion of your trade at the currently advantageous price, in the way that you could sell off half your shares if you were trading equities? I suppose this would be the same...
