WFO, I did the same. Placed a long at 8.45pm. was grinning at 9.45pm until I logged on. I checked with IG and got the same response as you. I also have an account with city index (not as good a platform) and looked at their charts - shows the same drop and immediate return within a few ticks...

Bad week last week, all 3 trades lost. EURJPY was stopped out last night (13485) at 11pm on City Index. Shame as it kissed the stop loss, then turned and is now running the right way. I'm sure city index couldnt just make the stop trigger, but it seems odd that didnt go any higher. 4 straight...

Damn. I fiddled with the stop and set it at 14600. GBUSD trade stopped out but still in a healthy profit of 170pips.
