Changing the time that a new day begins.

Hey everyone.

Is there a way to change the time that Daily candles starts when looking at Forex charts? I think the new candle starts at 10-10.30pm by default? I would like to change this to 11.30pm.

Any ideas?

I have never needed to do this myself, but I think the attached picture shows how

Right click on the currency symbol to get the properties tab, choose Use custom sessions, click on create template and give it a name e.g. start at 11:30 and add the start and end times of the days.

Then you can state which session name the currency will use.

Is this with MT4 charts?
What do you mean "Right click on the currency symbol" ?
Right clicking on the chart doesn't bring this up under properties.

this is in the TradeStation forum, so my 3 year old daughter reckons it's for TradeStation, not MT4

Thanks for the help guys, im slowly getting there with TS.

One more thing: How would I apply an MA to any indicator (that displays in its own window) and then shift the MA to the right?

change the "Displace" value from zero to whatever bars you want to shift to the right.
