Having just acquired tradestation 8, can you help me to get going. I am interested in using EOD data from Owndata.
I am willing to renumerate my teacher. I am in north west London. Please get in touch.

It is now possible to import 3rd party data into TS 8. But I wonder why you want to do it?

I would be interested to know how this works out for you. Send me a private message if you have this set up and working.

I think it requires "service pack 1" to import data into Tradestation 8.1 without using 3rd party software . Not sure this is available yet but is supposed to be out shortly

yes, service pack 1 is still in final beta but should be generally available soon from what I was told by support.

"soon" with TS is generally a very subjective word however... they said they were introducing Eurex data "soon" when many users voted for this enhancement in the TSW forums - nearly two years ago!

having said that, if SP1 is in final beta, "soon" probably doesnt mean 2 years off in this instance...
