Before you knock this, I'm letting the performance do the talking. This is a blog without the fluff and opinions... strictly raw and genuine trading like the most of you.

It's just meant for relief reading and sharing trader emotions and addictions that we all have as traders.

I just wanted to share my trials and tribulations as an options trader and helping the novice avoid making mistakes I've made in the past.

...and if i get to a million from 30k, then this should get exciting!

Althought the trading is in a real account.. the reading is just for fun!

account now at $145k from $30k starting in 2007… $1mil on target!

all options trades.

This awesome!!! I believe you will get to one million before 2007 is over. I hope to make a million soon myself. I have figured out how to decipher the options chain after a few days of persistance. I also just discovered the Options Report Blog. So, things are looking up for this Newbie. I am happy this site is available. Thank you for posting your information.

Unfortunately, you're not sharing anything other than net PnL. There is no reference to portfolio AUM. You had mentioned your offer of a newsletter subscription on another forum. Why not use an audit service like collective 2?

I assume these are intra-day trades and difficult to post actual charts and trades. Pity cos your performance is amazing thusfar and will be great to follow this blog as you get on.

I am new and am looking for all ways possible to profit from options contracts.

May I ask what strategies and numbers of contracts you bought or sold to go from 30k to 232k in the four month period?

I would greatly appreciate any tips you cna offer me.

I believe you will make one million dollars in 2007.

Your returns do seem incredible, I'm not knocking it, but to quantifity what your are saying you really need so show attach a P&L trading report from your MM showing the trades which you made you obtain these returns, rather than merely showing your bottom line, otherwise this can be deemed as fantasy (no offence intended)

In order to achieve that kind of growth he must have been taking pretty big risks, it doesn't matter how good you are - you will always have a set of bad trades, with those kind of risks it probably put a huge dent in his account.

lol.. i had a tough aug.. but back on track since sept..

I decided to include futures now also.. buying large size options was hurting my bottom line.

anyhow, I had a good day today .. +25k on DIA puts.. closed today.. and long futures into close.

Why is the long term gain figure 0? What happened to the +293k you were showing earlier this year?
