Optiver 8 min test, online vs paper-based

Hey,

I just took the online test of Optiver today for an event that I applied and they said the real test which I am going to have to take in their office will be quite similar to this online one.

In the online one, I was able to finish all 80 questions in 7:30 min (I wish I used my remaining 30 seconds to check my questions but I didn't) and I had 4 mistakes, so my score is I think 76-4*2=68.

So I was wondering if anyone taken both online and office tests, my question is how different the real test is from the online test? Is it same kind or is it way harder?

Also, if anyone of you has questions about the test, feel free to ask me.

I took both online test and office test, for Chicago office. The only difference is the online one is computer based, in-office is paper based. And there will be 1 or 2 additional tests if you are invited.

Thank you very much! That is a relief. I guess paper based means I will lose around at least 0.5 second per question, which will cause me 40 seconds at least. I can still pass I think.

Hi, I'm applying for a position in Optiver in Amsterdam. They told me that I will have to go through an online assessment test and an official trading test. I'm wondering if any of you has taken the trading test and would like to share some info about it, like what it looks like, how difficult, and some materials to practice for it. Many thanks!
