Further to the demise of the share and dow comps closing, and the inevitable moans from some players, I thought a poll would be in order to test the waters of something different.

Would you be a fan of paying an entry fee for additional comps if it was low cost with a valuable prize?

Im sure it would be possible to get the entry free, but get an outside sponsor to donate the monthly prize, say $1000-10,000 in account for the winner to trade through them etc. no cash withdraw on initial gift but profits can be withdrawn etc.

In fact why not T2W canvas and set up a whole series of different comps, ?

Using the Trade2Win portal to host all the internet trading comps under one umbrella. Its beautiful.

build the sponsors own web branding into the comp page etc. but its all here on trade2win.

Maybe some companies will only want to do a one off comp for a month , maybe they do it all year ,every month. etc. some might do it weekly.

You'll get all those eastern block traders and asians by the bucket load.

Maybe trade2win, can charge a hosting fee to the sponsors and manage all the comps.

Certainly pull in a lot of continued attention from people looking for comps, why not have them all in one place ? Trade2win .

Huge.

Tell you what with all these advertisers here already, I bet a few would go for it now. Igindex? Capitalspreads? FxCM ? on and on, come on sign em up..

That's a very good idea.

Yeah I think so, also o.k a lot of the comps say biggest gainer over the term is the winner. But what about arranging a Bi-anual comp too maybe.

A slightly more serious look at it. This time the sponsor will be invited to back the winner ,based on account gain but also this gain will be relative to closed positions draw down on the account. Now the prize for the comper over the 6 month period would be an account funded with say $25,000 by the sponsor with the view that the up and coming rookie will trade through the sponsors account under some profit split agreement.

I can see that being able to be arranged. Their might even be big private traders willing to offer this "traders scholarship" sponsorship .

Just ideas, but Trade2win has the perfect name to try to inbuild this access to comps and even serious comps if its desired.
