It's that time of the year again when we invite T2W members to vote on their favourite trading companies, products and services.

This year we're giving away the ultimate prize of the hottest gadget, a brand new iPad 2! All you have to do is nominate or vote in at least one category, and you'll be entered into our prize draw.

We've made a few adjustments to the categories this year to better reflect changes in the industry, especially in trading technology.

One more change to the awards this year, is we're splitting it into two stages so that we arrive at a final authoritative shortlist of candidates.
After 14 days of initial voting the nominations will close and initial counting will take place after which the top 5 will stay in the running.

Anyone who nominated or voted for a company that is not in the top 5 will have the opportunity to vote again for the remaining 5 candidates if they wish. But even if you choose not to vote again then you'll be entered into the draw.

Voting is now open until December 18th and winners will be announced shortly afterwards.

Make your nominations and place your votes now: Trade2Win Members' Choice Awards 2011

the 45 degree angled banner at the top right of each page interferes with the "settings" and "sign out" links.

We can't sign out of t2w. We are being held against our will

Same as last year, on an iPhone it's all over the place, in fact it's all over the text I'm typing now.

But more importantly which vendors should we vote as most helpful members this year?

Thats exactly what happens, a vendor will always win and look good, because there are always new people buying the product. The voting should be changed so that we can have a negative vote as well.Take that away from the +s they get and that should be the score

Because of the economic climate, the incentives being offered by the vendors to vote for them this year are pants to be honest. So, we may as well all just vote on merit for who we actually think deserves to win an award!
:cheesy:

Except that t2w would say that 2 negative votes make a positive and actually add a vote

Whats the point of doing that ? The results get fiddled every single year.

The sensible strategy is not to waste a single second of your time and not vote at all. :smart:

It would be hillariously funny if someone was to set up a rival voting site, with 100% transparent results, just for comparison purposes. Better still anyone voting should make their votes completely public by posting details of who they voted for and why on a public thread. That should stop you boys fiddling the results again this year

Can we vote for banned members this year ?, there's a few who should be nominated.

Here are the votes from the pb jury

1 Mike Baghdady for having the cheek to claim to be the world trading champion whilst simultaneously filing for bankruptcy

2 City Financial Traders for copying their testimonial photos from the Richmond University website and then promptly disappearing with people's money.

3 Terry Troakes from Learn Express for threatening to shoot The Hare by PM after being caught making up stories about getting people jobs in banks and hedge funds.

Thank you all for the entertainment you have provided in 2011.

I think your efforts deserve an award and I tried to nominate you as best forum contributor but had already nominated someone else. Clearly there should be an an outstanding contribution award for the protection of the innocent and hounding the guilty

Damn, I forgot about Guy Cohen decoding the secret Nazi box that 'made millions'. I'll put him at number 4 on my list.

Nah, nah, nah. C'mon the hare - think about it. There's really no point in going to all the trouble of fiddlin' the results unless it's in 'our' best interests to do so. Why bother - it's a total waste of time, doh! Like I say, this year, there's simply not the incentives to make it worthwhile. Unlike last year, when I received enough 'thank you for your support' messages with attached Chrimbo pressies to get myself a smart new beamer . . .

I really fancy something a tad more up market, but I'm gonna have to wait until Greece and Italy default on their debts (as they surely will), Germany finally gets the 'ump and Britannia rules the waves once again!

All this criticism would disappear if you published the vote count, just like people have been asking for the past two years. If democracy can spread through the middle east surely t2w can follow suit and publish the vote count. I mean how many people really voted for elitejets last year?

I thought Guy Cohen was raking it in with his secret nazi box and Mr Charts hasnt had a loser in 2 years :innocent:

Sharky needs to put the frightners on the lot of them.

There's certainly some stiff competition in that category this year, but they might stand a reasonable chance in the "most blatent spam" category

ah, that must surely go to forexbangbang and co, aka quantme. the entertainment value alone is worthy of an award, and the best bit is they're still at it, well last week at least anyway. i look forward to this weeks installments. exclusive to trade2win i hasten to add :D

vote forexbangbang!
