Just curious to guage what percentage of t2w's 200,000 subscribers are full time traders employing only their own capital. This means your only source of income is from your own trading activity ... you are not backed at an arcade, and you don't have a part time job.

I'm also interested to know what people think that percentage number actually is.

Yes, it's my money only... but I've been losing it for over 6 months now and am probably going to go on sabbatical... probably still trade EOD w/ no leverage.

I would bet a lot of money that the actual percentage of T2W members who trade their own money as their only source of income is less than 1%.

I would guess that more than 75% of members don't trade at all.

I`m in the 1% --full time from home--after years trading others money I have been doing it for years with my own . Love it.

I would say that...

* One should disount the quoted numbers for Spam and such

and

* Of the members who are "real people", I would think that most of them have put on a trade at some point. All it takes is a hundred quid on a credit card

Sorry, could have worded that better - I meant to say that I suspect 75% of members registered don't trade generally, that's not to say that they haven't had a punt here and there. My guess comes from the belief that the majority of people who sign up blow their accounts quickly and don't bother after that.

me too.. all my own money.. would manage for other people, but after giving them their cut and then giving HMRC another cut of whats left.. it is just not worth the hassle.

Ok so at the moment nearly half the respondents are full time traders, I need more non-full-time-traders to reply to the poll to make it more balanced!

Have you been drinking? I don't understand a word of this.

You're clearly not familiar with his posts

I went for backed, but as I am getting the majority of profits (like all prop/arcade deals that I'm aware of) and consequently sharing the majority of losses unless I were to fall beneath the seed capital, in which case frankly I'd be finished (had a nasty 6 months as well, like MrG, although all but 1 were profitable I have been having to withdraw a lot of money to support foolish lifestyle choices and an evil tax bill so have less money in accounts by far than before, although things are looking up again) I could reasonably be considered to be trading my own money, tbh.

The problem here is that 199,900 of the registered members don't post a word on here so you'll probably never get a real answer to your initial questions...

No, this poll isn't attracting much interest. 40 pct of respondents are full time traders, which would mean there are 80,000 of them on t2w. Not.
