SBs that freeze

Has anyone else had the repeated experience of having the SB company site crashing when the market is moving ?

Take today for instance Finspreads has denied entry since I first tried at 3pm UK time. The time is now 3.31 pm and entry is still denied.

Devastating if one has a losing position !! and it's getting rapidly worse

Fortunately I'm not currently in the market but really !!

How about other SB companies ?

I've heards its because loads of people try to access the platform during huge moves and the servers cant handle it. Stop loss should take care of it in the case of a losing position though.

Probably happens on every platform unless you're paying a good whack a month

OK now I'm in but it could have been expensive. They could buy bigger servers imho

Long time no speak, hope alls well, they all do it mate, when S&P announced they maybe reviewing the UK credit rating last week, as that moment, guess what IG crashed, when I called, well you know the answer, very convenient, they know they could have being screwed for millions, so the move the goalposts and claim technical issues, far to convenient for me, have seen similiar before as well.

Maybe their tactics are to force one to use stops more and then whizz the market up and down taking them out. Perhaps being a bit cynical but >>>

The Interactive Investor (iii) platform is becoming increasingly unreliable.

Pity because it has a few things going for it apart from that.

I had not suspected foul play, but who knows.

All the financial spread betting brokers have technical difficulties during very important news and high volatility. If you urgently need to close a position then give them a call and they'll do it straight away.

technical difficulties? lol..they lock you out on propose to you cant take positions during times they may not be able to hedge and as dino said, get taken for millions
