FTSE Range 1984

Hi I am after a little help please

Can anybody tell me the high and low for the Footise for the year 1984. I am having an issue with an insurance company who are now saying to me that well you know markets have just slumped and my argument is this policy was taken out in 84 when the markets were at whatever level and you are the one's that should have locked in my profits by selling in Oct last year.

When you started the policy did you sign the contract as 'NUT'?

It started @ 1000 on 3 Jan 1984. According to my Bloomberg, it closed 1984 @ 1232.2
