the pivot on that pair is at 1.022, and its stuck against a resistance area around 1.0224, the 40 day MA is pointing DOWN -
and your BUYING at 1.03 with a 600 point stop ...???

how come...??? :confused:

Its been on an uptrend since the 19/3 and that came to an end on the 24/3 - 375 pips (ish)

dante, i am using this system on the 6 forex majors - eur/usd, gbp/usd, usd/chf, usd/cad, usd/jpy and aud/usd. i will also use it on the ym, gold and oil.

money management is not something i concern myself with. that is up to the individual.

" i am afraid my setups are a secret " - hey thats cool those " secret set ups " are there to be found in ANY pre - 1960 trading books ...!! - in fact you dont even need a computer - just go to the library -
ANYONE can curve - fit (change the rules after the event) -
so i wouldnt bother to spend cash on a new " secret/holy grail system " no ... !!

If you use the CORRECT stop off a CHART, they usually are larger than most people imagine anyway ... !!



Just LEARN THE RULES - AND GO TRADE ........ !! (y)

Hi,sorry to be a pain in the a.. - just wanted to ask, that sweeping statement -

" the large stop is common on entry. it is quickly trailed." -

is that " common " to your " secret set - up "...???

or just common knowledge in general....???? :confused:
 
Man, where does one start? I mean seriously! This is just so boringly and obviously a bad idea. You know someone is just useless when they say 'we will see who has more ticks in a month'. Trading gods punish hubris, although such a bad trading 'secret' will probably do the job first.

What exactly is people's problem here? Everybody constantly whines about vendors; now this guy is sticking his neck out, and immediately we have a bunch of idiots making smarta*se comments.

Why not go head to head with this guy and let your trades do the talking?

To have a fair competition, you need to disclose your website. Otherwise, even if you are really c*ap, there is nothing to stop you from simply creating a new identity and keep selling your system.

Why is there need for people to have to go out and prove themself, for what reason, for whose benefit, I'm afraid, I'm not impressed in the least, means nothing to me and certainly doesn't impress me.

I do belong to a private thread here "Real Live Trading" and post if I'm lucky 1 trade a week, why?, because I enjoy the thread and the comapany of co-traders. I don't feel a need to post trades, why should I, I'm trading to make a living, quite how I make that living is nobody else's business.

Why should I feel a need to justify what I trade, what system I use, what profits/losses I make, looks a bit like anego trip to me, but if children must!

A concern I raised before when another trader, who will remain nameless, was very clearly stating calls without giving actual figures, trades sizes, stops, reasons etc, it was very easy to see, how newbies, could jump on board, following "blind" advice and the potential to trade another plan and ultimately lose their pot. So newbies beware, trade your own plan and don't follow the trading advice of somebody else.

Got the wrong end of the stick mate.

These people are vendors selling their system, therefore, there is a clear need to prove themselves I feel before people part with their childrens inheritance, and they have gracefully excepted the challenge.

I applaud your effort to start this thread, but as you can no doubt see, people can't help making a nuisance of themselves. Perhaps you should start a blog, or a trading journal where you will be able to continue this in peace.
 
Didn't think I was making a nuisance of myself, simply passing what I thought was a valid comment, concern

its funny how people ALWAYS mess up on the " kindergarten stuff "....??


well after reading this on one of your numerous threads - id just quit whist your ahead if i were you - or just dont comment and get back to your studies - sounds like ya could do with the practice...

and before you jumped in, i was asking him about his " Holy Grail of a new system ".... !!

the last person i heard went lookin for the Holy Grail was Indiana Jones :p - (and even hes making a come back) - so anything is possible i suppose -
