CMC Markets?

Been looking to open a CMC markets account, have been trying out the software for a while on the demo account and its pretty nifty, and add new features quite often - is there anyone out there better? In terms of spreads and commissions as well not just software.
Wouldn't mind some opinions...

They have the closest spreads, the most volatile prices and the crappiest charts.

cant say i used them recently, but the spreads have come down significantly when compared to 5 years ago. in my experience they were as good as any other spreadbetter and are fine for longer term type of trading, ie position/swing....but poor for short term trading (like all spreadbetters) re fills.

They have pretty well have done away with requotes which is an improvement.
But on the UK 100 they switch your trading ticket from Market to Limit when things are likely to become volatile and some times they lock it,
so you have to cancel the ticket and then reopen it to trade and by the time you have done this the move is gone.
They also jump the prices around a lot and their charts are rubbish.
I have had better success by simply trading from another set of charts.
Even though the prices are a little bit different it actually makes no difference to your profit or loss but you have a much better sense of what's going on.
