I am setting this thread up just saw I can make my trade calls and get some noise on T2W..I have been on other forumz but my loyality lies here....The reason thisis a seperate thread than the forex thread is because...it is forex only and I dont want to disrtub the peace of other good traders on the thread...

Starting from Today....The aim is to make 1000 pips by December the 18th.I will put calls on here based:
1. Forex----Pairs---GBP\USD---EUR\JPY----GBP\JPY....USD\JPY.....Only.
2. Indices--Only dow but these will be long term trades over 2-3 days...
3.Gold--Longer term trade---Seasonal---
4. Oil-- Scalp trades...

Please let me know mods if their are any issues with me starting this thread..
Pip Basket (0)
The aim to fill the pip basket by 300 pips a month without any negative trades...

Please follow the trades with care and caution...

Good luck. No losses at all? That is some challenge.

Is this really possible....I should have put minimal losses right....
I want to hit a no loss ratio which unfortunately means big stops...
Thanks matey...for the good luck but tonight should be a good night for my calls...
Most probably will call after eveything is over...the best way...as 2nite will be a major event....better than NFP..I think...
 
Big stops? Big balls? Hope it works out. I don't have the confidence, even if things do work out about 75% of the time for me when I look back at recent failed trades and see that it would have been fine if I'd put a stop of 70-100pts.

Are you paper trading this account or trading it for real? Running positions without stops means you've got to trade them small or you'll run out of margin.

Also - there will be a point where you're wrong - and you'll have to close that trade for a nasty loss. I hope you're prepared for that. And I'm assuming you'll close all positions end of December - whether in profit or loss?

Secondly counting pips is worthless in my book. If you have £500 and trading £2 a pip (1/250th of account size) and make a 125 pip loss followed by a 200 pip gain at £1 a pip (position relative to account size) you could say you've made 75 pips profit - but actually you've made a loss in real terms of £50.
 
I am a proffesional forex trader and I understand exactly where you are coming from hoggums..I have been through the paper trading process...5 years ago...
The main reason for this thread to help newbies and to display my humbleness to help
rather than my ego...

As far as making pips is concearned that is the primary objective...
I dont quite understand your theory of counting pips but let me keep it simple my friend..you master making pips and money is in your bank...
I am a forex scalper and for long term positions I trade contracts but I will post them as I go...

Before the questions come up do I hedge on another account to prove my point:

I am just passing on my knowledge to newbies so they dont have to learn the hardway..

As far as charts are concearnd ....I will try and post my charts and statements if I can...but I am a scalper so generally I will try post my scalping point the previous day...I will have to see how much time I have...

Good Evening all,
Please Please if you are trading tonight...be careful if you are new to the market....
The only pair I will be trading is eur\jpy..
We could get 70 points tonight either way....But I am here to make em not loose them..No Pressure Rav Lol

I am sorry I can not provide the call on time too volatile for me to concentrate on both apologies
 
It is calming down now I am still looking for a long entry...when this settles..
 
This would be I told you so syndrome...I got in long @ 16 out at 38 but this is what happens when you trade the news..it is hard to concentrate on both the news and update forum..I am sure we will pull some pips out tonight...

Cable

Hi Rav, managed to get long cable on decision, hit 35 and 45s, but didnt get prices as went too fast, eventually got long 59s covered at 97 in a panic. as typing ralling again to 148s, should of held on or got long again but missed entry :eek:
