Hi,

I'm new to the game and i'd like to get some information and help others at the same time. I have started today for the first time after reading some books on daytrading. I thought binaries were an excellent, limited risk way of starting in the market so I opened an account with choiceodds and put in £20.

I managed over 43 10p/point floating binaries (yes, a tad many but i'm learning!) to get to a high of £40 and a low of ~£11. I closed at 5% up at about £21.50. I was trading the five minutes FTSE and then the DOW.

First impressions are that i'm glad i was at least able to maintain my starting capital... I don't mind the learning curve if I can maintain it on a low cost. After messing for the first few trades and getting lucky, I started using www.livecharts.co.uk to get a 10 second and a 1 minute set of candle charts.

I seemed to find more cyclical behaviour at times in the DOW.

If there are any tips / strategies / recommendations for trading the five minute binaries or for better realtime charts please list them here so we can all learn! Anyone have recommendations for indicators would be great - all the ones I retrofit to the graphs don't seem particularly clear or helpful!

my advice is leave 5 min binaries alone they are too volatile if you open an account with ig index they do 20 min binaries easier to predict in my view
