Why have betfair shares just gone up about 4%?

OK, not sports trading, but related. In the last fifteen minutes. Would love to know why.

Drifting back down a bit now.

Because people wanted to buy them more than they wanted to sell them.

Well, because more people were willing to buy them at a higher price than were willing to sell them at a lower price. This also explains why the are drifting back down.

Anyway, couldn't 4% be down to a couple of big orders, I can't imagine Betfair shares are traded a lot?
