first step

I'm about to finish a master in quantitative finance in italy. In few weeks I have an interview at Liquid Capital group in london. Does anyone one of you know about the difficulty of the numerical test? Is there any particuolar trick anyone can give to me? Thank you very much

thank you very much Grant. You know I always try to go a bit further ahead from where I stand. Do you have any idea of the type of questions I will be facing on the first session? Have you done this test?

I haven't done the test.

From what's been written on various posts on T2W, mental aritmetic (ie without a calculator) is tested, eg 36 x 255 / 8. You have to answer these in a few seconds. Also mental puzzles, eg a white square contains a white circle and a black triangle, a second is a black square with a black a circle and black triangle, a third is a white square with a white circle and black triangle. You have to provide the fourth pattern (this isn't an actual example, simply the type of question you may need to solve).
