Hi Joe,
Yes, I'm using his swing system. No complaint.

Using someone else's system is still step 1 of 38:

See post six

You've got to start somewhere:)

I also saw this system, and was very curious about it. I believe the day trading system is discretionary, so the results Ned claim's could differ greatly from anyone who buys the method...

I bought both the swing and day system...expecting results to be the same at the posted subscription results, but my paper trading results were only half of what he claims. Don't expect any better. I have since started trading his position subscription signals and I am very happy with the results...still not even close, but very successuful. I do plan on trying his swing subscription signals.

Before I signed up for his swing system which I'm every happy with, he specifically made it very clear to me that the posted performance for swing signals and day signals are different from swing system and day system performances. The swing system generates real time signals, but as he's written on his web site he has to anticipate and kind of forecast swing signals since he post them before market hits them.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Can you elaborate on why your actual results for the day system underperformed the posted subscription results? Also, are you still subscribed and how is it performing in terms of number of S&P points/week ?

Since I bought the systems, I don't need to sign up for Day Signals. However, once a while I subscribe to his Swing Signals since his swing signals has more and less his own personal analysis which are posted in the morning as opposed to his swing system which generates signals in real time. Therefore, his signals may be different from what his system generates.

In terms of performance. I'm doing much better than before. It seems as time goes on, I'm able to execute his systems with my own unique psychological traits better. On swing system, I guess my return sometimes is better than him. But on the day system, he's still beating me. Remember, his Level I system generates more signals than his day signals subscription. So if you like his day signals performance, you’d love his Level I system. One thing I like about Dr. Gandevani’s systems is that they are not mechanical but very objective. He has some indicators, paint bars and lines, which shows up on your charts that identify where to enter and exit.

What about his autotrading software?

Just signed on w/ T2W. Does anyone know how well Ned's Autotrading software compares to his stated results? Check out his results; is this for real? Automated Forex System - V3 For Daily Chart

I personally don’t have any direct experience with Dr. Gandevani’s Forex automated system. However, I know two of my trading friends who have signed up for his swing and forex systems. Both are quite happy. I don’t trade forex. I guess the key to Dr. Gandevani’s phenomenal success in treading is his non-linear market model. He looks at the market in a totally different way. He talks about it in his system course manuals. For someone who has not taken his courses might be a good idea to read his books. In his recent book which I have read and liked it very much, he discusses about his market model.

Hello! Has anyone purchased on of Dr. Gandevani's automated trading systems? The results posted are obviously amazing! I just can not find any comments from someone who has actually purchased on of the automated systems forex or futures? Please respond if you have experienced one of the systems-Thanks!

Richard2, First I purchased Dr. Gandevani's Forex system, I liked it very much. Then few months later, I also purchased his automated version swing system. I'm very happy with both. Initially, I used call him with my questions before I purchased them. He was very good in answering my questions in details which made me very comfortable.

Warning about this system please read

WARNING ABOUT NED GANDEVANI'S SYSTEMS and SPWES Comments. SPWES is Gandevani himself, I know this because my eamils with him are SPWES.

I took his day trading and swing cousres years ago and have been attempting to trade the methodology for some years and it's a SCAM. The swing course is a first class ticket to go broke. He tells you to buy and sell the market based on his divergence indicator and some paint bars everytime it signals together. I can tell you that this is destined to accumulate losses day in and day out. I can't even see profits in hindsight let alone the future.

His WES daytrading system is very, very inconsistent. He tells you to buy and sell the market from a certain distance from the Open, I've been trying to do this with his double confirmation concept at these levels and you will go BROKE. His Key Points are even worse. For every single successful Key Point trade you find, I'll find you 5 times that which have failed. And is gap strategies and other strategies have a 20% success ratio, he'll tell you 90%, yeah right NED.

SPWES is Gandevani himself. PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO HIS COMMENTS AS HE IS TRYING TO BRING IN THE MASSES TO CHARGE ALL OF YOU TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for his courses.

I have worked on attempting to understand his methodology to the point of exhaustion for many years, and it's impossible to be consistent.

His monthly results he is posting every month on his website is FALSE ADVERTISING. I have had only 2 profitable months in 5 years and I should be ashamed of listening to this man, I actually believed him and it's my ignorance. PLEASE TRADERS, STAY AWAY. A CLASS ACTION LAWSUITE IS IN ORDER for FALSE ADVERTISMENT.

It has cost me years of frustration and more money than imaginable. I have a post graduate degree and I consider myself well read and inteligent (I guess not in this case lol), therefore if I can't become profitable, no one can as I have spent half a decade of my life on this venture.

His daily commentary of the trades you should have taken are rubbish and he most likely updates his trades and comments on them in hindsight (ask him for audited results). I know this because I paid him 20K to trade with him live for a month and it was a comedy show of losses. The following day when I saw his daily commentary, he disregaded adding all the losing trades and fine tuned the winning trades to what one could have done etc, etc, etc.

This mans primary business is to attract the masses, teach them a very, very complex approach that really has very little consistecy, which will force the student to sign up for daily commentary which is vague, then he'll force you to sign up for coaching, then he'll tell you to sign up for level 2 then level 3, then he'll tell you to sign up for swing and ulitmately, it will cost you 50 to 100k. HE IS A SCAMMER.

His exit concepts are even worse, he has non that are objective. Imagine trying to exit based on double top etc.

There is one born every minute, and unfortunately, I was one of them. I am simply trying to protect the rest.

I had similar results...my results were not even close to his.

His posted results are all in hindsight (including his daily commentary). I've aksed him some intricate questions in the past, and his answers were vague enough to know he is simply lying. I would love to see genuine audited results of his so called millions he's made.

I have signed up for Dr. Gandevani’s Winning Edge Day Signals. So far, the signals are doing well. However, I like to sign up for his Level I system. I read all the postings here with interest. Some of them were very helpful, but some were just inconsistent words of anger and hate. For instance, I just don’t understand the logic behind signing up for Dr. Gandevani’s swing system or other services, if one is not happy with his day system. I don’t have higher education, but I wouldn’t do it and that is the reason I’m asking now for more information before I sign up for his day system. Nevertheless, if anyone has taken his Level I system, please contact me. Any good and factual information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I agree with Nine here................

I only trade my own system that I have developed...........I would never place real money at risk based on what someone else told me............(That person could fall of the map tomorrow)...........That is the way I roll and I think everyone else should be that way as well............If you cannot determine which way your market is headed by yourself then you should not be risking real money...........

JahDave,
Thanks for your reply. Agreed!
Yes, I think one should develop his own system. However, I just don’t wish to reinvent the wheel. Nevertheless, my intention is to learn whatever is the best out there and then customize and modify it as it fits me for the best results, as the good doctor recommends. Cheers.

I spent a tremendous amount of time and energy with Winning Edge by Ned Gandevani. To say it was a poor use of resources would be a grand understatement. The swing and day system is without a track record because the lack of clear rules prevents a quantitative evaluation. He also will not discuss his personal performance trading the system, or connect you with other students who have purchased the system. The so-called "performance history" listed on the site to give misleading credibility to the $5000 systems ($15,000+ coaching for 3 "levels" of day trading) is a black box calculation from the subscription signals service, and there is no evidence of it being based in fact whatsoever. I have taken the day trading courses, and can tell you that the day signals are laughably inflated and totally disconnected from reality. In truth, you're feeling great if you ever have a winning month trading WES.

If you are enamored by his website, pictures, or his claims of an unbelievable profit factor, small and few losing trades, and no losing months, rather than spending a thousands of dollars for this ambiguous trading "system," buy/borrow a USED copy of his book, "Winning Edge Trading" (retailing a rip-off price of $60) and try trading it real time for 50+ trades using an account with no money (for your sake). Get all pumped up about how the examples in his book seem to show the system showing only major market tops and bottoms, then try to trade it real time and see if you encounter problems in the practical realm.

The RSI/DPO system he advocates in his book is the same countertrend philosophy as his paint bar/divergence indicators that comprise the $5000+ strategies. You will have all the information you need by this point to make a qualified decision as to whether you are still interested in what he sells. I encourage you to write about your experiences in online forums as well, whatever your honest experience is. However, I have confidence that you will reach similar conclusions that WES is all hat and no cattle.

Based on the idiomatic wording and content, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if spwes, DG96, and Starsptrader are ALL accounts created by Gandevani trying to promote his online reputation under false pretenses of a student who is offended that, while he makes awesome returns trading WES, other posters who have wasted their time and money with his glorious teacher are full of "inconsistent words of anger and hate"…rofl. I think if I were racking in the $ trading this deal, I wouldn't care in the slightest bit if the online community thought what I bought was worthless or a scam or whatever. However, if I was the VENDOR, then the motivations become clear...
