Need Advice on tools and strategy

Hi im new to stock trading, i use a $50 robinhood account to learn. Today i was trying to trade a breakout pattern (see attachment). Had resistance at 37 cents so i was waiting for the breakout to pass 37 so i could be sure it was ready. Unfortunately as soon as it hit 37 cents it shot way up and i missed my entry point. I dont have decent charting yet since im new to stocks and i dont have internet currently. How can i time my entry better / what tools do i need?
