Anton Kreil from the BB2 trading programme - Million Dollar Traders is offering All day Trader tutorial sessions in teh major cities, London, Manchester, Cardiff, Leeds, Newcastle.

i think hes charging £399 for an all day session.

What do you all think of this, from what i saw of him in Million Dollar traders he sounded like a guy with loads of talent and experience.

If stocks is your thing it may be ok. They only problem i see is that you take a test
on Day 2 but why. That day would have been better spent him live trading taking entries
if he's trading longer term to show you where to get in.

But hasn't this guy traded and worked in HFs for years? I'm not expecting him to get me rich but he might teach some stuff that you just won't be able to learn outside the industry.

We re-watched Wall Street Saturday night. Conversation at home came back to Anton on Million Dollar Traders and similarities with Gordon Gekko. Loved the film, loved the programme (though I didn't learn anything of value as far as freelance trading is concerned from either).

£400 a day for quality training is par for the course but I would recommend convincingly detailed testimonials from profitable graduates before signing the cheque.

if he is a millionaire trader why bother with charging for seminars ? surely he could make as much with trading that day ???

Bored. So I looked him up. Seems to have been at Goldman, Lehman and JPM (or, at least, the records reveal that someone of that name certain was). What it didn't say is in what capacity. Also doesn't say if he's any good or not. No idea about HFs - these are all banks.

Does it say what activities he was registered for with FSA?

far as I know he was an equity flow trader

All you get is registration type, which doesn't tell you jack really. (think he was a CF21)

must be skint if he's knocking out seminars at £400 a pop. you would have thought he'd have made a decent buck or two in guarantees alone looking at his career CV. last seen as VP at JP's in pharma and chems-cash stuff. not there any more....

Haha - looks like another numpty who got burned on the property bandwagon - so now he has to sell tuition.

He mentions in the FT blog how he saw the equity bull market running out of control with everyone going long, which was why he got out - why on earth didn't he spot the same thing happening on the property market??

Obvious Hoggums... These poles keep coming over here taking our jobs and filling up our houses! Anyhew, might his trading seminar thing might be okay then? At least he's going back to what he knows instead of dishing out property portfolio get rich quick schemes eh.
