It's pretty good but expensive. You could try something like ScalpTrader as they offer free support and resistance levels for the E-Mini S&P

I tried it today, got 3 s&p points, they called the high exactly and within 1 pt of the low. 2 for 2 on trades, pretty impressive. would've payed for itself today.

This site is no longer free, but they offer support and resistance levels for the E-mini S&P and also the E-mini Russell 2000 now ( www.scalptrader.com )

Greetings, I have also been looking at page trader, have not taken the free trial because i feel this is a slow week, maybe Jan 1. Are you trading options on the S&P 500 or the e- mini?

I am currently subscribed to PageTrader and trade their short-term trade ideas using the e-mini's. I am not pleased with the results atm, but am backtesting some of their longer-term ideas. I like their s/r numbers. I find it is not possible to attain their results posted in the track record because they optimize their entry when calculating results. They do, however, alert readers to this fact.

anyone who can shaqre their experiences with page traders esp during these times of unexpected S&P trends. Would appreciate details. Thankx

big BS service.Stay away. They scale out of trade but count point more than 2wice.

Smithani, I canceled my subscription with PageTrader. I tried trading with their calls several different ways, but got just above break even. Not worth the effort or subscription price for me. If you like, you may hear David Williams on cfrn.net almost everyday in the morning explaining more about the service.

I have used PageTrader, and they have fantastic tools and animations - but after using it for 2 months - the actual TRADES ... i.e. "Enter here" followed by "Exit here" - I was down. Don't be fooled by Turning Point Calender, or swing highs ... these don't count as trades in my book.

There are a couple others that I have found both of them give Precise Entries and Exits and report them accurately

Larry Levins secretsoftraders.com is good, but very expensive $5k to get in.

Other one is futurescomsignals.com, Free Trial and then monthly payment.

For more vague trends, I have other sites if people want details they can ask me.

There is a massive list of the ones I have tried and failed with - better you don't ask me about those !!

Paid for PageTrader.com's subscription and didn't like it. They advertise a "Super Trade" with remarkable returns. However, I came to find out that the "Super Trade" isn't a trade at all--it's a "forecast" according to the person I spoke with on the phone. What is the difference between a "trade" versus a "forecast"? I never got a solid answer to that question that I could understand. It seemed like double-talk to me.

The intra-day trades had unimpressive results during the period I was looking at it. I didn't find any compelling reason to continue the subscription, so I canceled.

how much did you make with secretsoftraders.com and futurescomsignals.com?

I did ok with secretsoftraders, but I pulled out as it was expensive compared to futurescomsignals - where I was making more.

Also, signals has swing positions for larger accounts - which suits my trading more.

Both are good though, unlike pagetrader - signals gives exact trade entries and exits. Same as secrets... both are good packages where you will make money.

One thing to note though, don't expect to arrive and on the first or second day start making big money. You need time to become accustomed to the new system, scale into trades and take the losses as they will come. Overall though, both of these are good places to work if you want to make money trading.

Any other questions, please get in touch.

If I may ask. Why are'nt you satisfied with page trader as there performance seems to be good. All u need is to follow their approach of a trade even at a 1-2 tick difference.

I am a small trader who would be happy with 3-5 points a day. Can I get it using pagetrader. Your advice would help.
Thanks

Smithani,

Of course, you can't be certain to get 3-5 points a day with any trading system. With PageTrader, when I tracked the performance of their trading signals, the results were unimpressive. In the end, the net results I showed was a loss. I tracked it for about a couple of weeks. It could be I did it during a bad period of time.

As is the case with every trading system I have looked at, PageTrader is liberal when broadcasting profitability but very tight about holding out the possibility of a subscriber getting the same results.

Pagetrader results - are not what they seem.

I will give you an example :

http://www.pagetrader.com/pastperf_...152180DD0D&chartype=NR&cdate=11/02/2009#chart

At this link, they say "did your trading system identify today's upside and downside targets" ? - so they will claim this as a success.

I used their service for over a month and couldn't follow their signals to make money.

Any good signalling service, will list ALL trades on their website - that way you can see how they have performend historically.

I am doing well with the ones I have found, using this criteria.

Whether people follow the ones I use, or use others - I urge you to use the same criteria as it will discount all of those that make money selling a service instead of actually trading their signals with real and big money.

Criteria :

1) - All trades listed historically (entries + exits)
2) - Track record going back a number of years
3) - Trading some decent sizes
4) - Decent length (1-2 weeks Free Trial)

Hope this helps guys.
