Zulutrade signal provider top

Guys are you still using Zulutrade? I read good stuff lately and am thinking to try it..

why you say that?

Most of the signal providers average-down ( add to losers ) and eventually they blow up , monitor the top list for a few months and you will see , and if they don't average down they simply don't close losing trades for ever , any sharp trend in the fx market and u will get **** and the SP makes a commission and disappears ....

Thanks for the replies guys and consider your points...but you only show people that are loosing.... nobody is winning with zulutrade?

Hi robbert, I am not a Zulutrade client myself but I am familiar with the service. Essentially I am of the view that its business model is very much skewed in favour of the signal providers who get paid based on the number of trades they open, not on their trading results. Furthermore, it is very difficult to replicate the results shown in a live account due to various factors such as slippage etc.

It is another concern that there are very few signal providers on Zulutrade who actually have any skin in the game themselves; most trades are sent either from a demo account or a live account that is not necessarily set up to follow their signals. So you always run the risk of some trader going nuts and just opening trades to get paid and to hell with your account equity. That is not to say there are no successful Zulutrade investors, there may well be, but given the above I think the odds are stacked against them.

If you want to invest your money there are better services out there that have performance based fees, much like a hedge fund. Alternatively, if you are interested in markets you could learn to trade yourself; I would hazard a guess that with some effort you could become a lot better than many of the Zulutrade providers.

Good trading

@ neil: what exactly do you mean?

@ nigel: thank you for the nice comments.

How much do I need to invest into hedge funds? I've heard it is quite a lump sum, isn't it? Do I have to pay the broker/s as well? I've heard that they are quite risky, as well..

Thank you for believing in my abilities, but I am far away from trading by myself - I hardly have any free time to sit and learn, moreover attend any classes, just aint that smart :smart:

Put your money in the bank and forget this whole idea. What you actually want is money for free and I'm afraid there is nothing like that available. You are setting yourself up to be ripped off.

If you want extra money get a second job.

Thank you for the advice. I already have a second job, and the money is never enough - kids in college, mortgage..you know how it gets.
mmmmm, a savings account, I thought of it but with the 2% yearly interest and having my cash locked for 5-10 years to get smth like 500$ on them...

Guys, can anybody give me relevant advice on Zulutrade, please? Or providers to follow? This is the right thread, no?

You are going to lose your money, don't get involved with things like this.

Hi robbert

Yes you would require substantial capital to approach a hedge fund. I wasn't suggesting you do that, I was saying that there are services available similar to Zulutrade that operate a similar fee structure to hedge funds (e.g. 2% of assets under management annually and 20% of any gain). I'm not going to endorse any here but if you do a search on google you wil find them. That type of fee structure means that the trader has some interest in your performance, under the Zulutrade method, a trader can blow your entire account and there will be no repercussions whatsoever.

It comes down to your risk tolerance ultimately, and what return you seek. For me, I would put Zulutrade somewhere in the region of going to a casino, i.e. you are more likely to lose than to gain. If you do open a live account be very careful; only to invest money that you are prepared to lose.

I would reiterate my original suggestion - if you seek to take control of your own financials, do some trading yourself. Trade the daily time frames if you are busy i.e. a few minutes a day. Alternatively if you are looking to generate outsized returns with high risk on a financial rollercoaster, well maybe you are looking for Zulutrade after all! All the very best with whichever you choose to do!

Good trading

I can't be bothered to read all of this but in the first two pages nobody is reporting making money. One guy has lost 6000.

ZuluTrade | Zulutrade.com reviews and ratings by Forex Peace Army[/QUOTE

I read them all. some people loose, but some people win, as I see. Look at Giovani from Italy - he won 3200 euros...So it is possible to win as well, no?

Read again, on 1/8/09 he reported that he turned $1500 into $3200 which is $1700 profit. Then on 10/9/11 he reported that he had lost $6000. Tell me how he made money?

Seriously though these guys are blinding you with the talk of easy money for no effort. You didn't even read Giovanis full post you were so desperate to believe any scrap of evidence that this type of thing works.
