Hi all,
Does anyone use this broker?
I have opened an account and am looking for a few pointers in where to find the tickers / contracts / margin calc figures / etc.

An example of how one of there trades would work would be great or just general thoughts on the site and best / worst things about it.

i have been using the broker for about 1 month. it is great for me. I am not a regular trader and post very few trades (few actually are triggered). I like the interface the info, the live ticker and chains and the upfront fee schedule...
so in effect I would give it a AAA

hi, thanks for your reply. i am trying to trade options on this site and am having trouble. every trade i enter comes back with an issue, either credit limit or something else. what do you trade on this site? have you had to put a lot of cash in? more than 10,000 dollars?

you need a lot of cash if you are selling! If you Buy to Open you only need to have the cosst of the option plus commission. If you buy Sell to open you need the strike price. You will need even more money if you play riskier trades with indefinite possible losses.
I only tend to trade calls. Puts are far more tricky to get right (in my experience...).

thanks for the reply. i made some progress last night and will run something on their virtual platform first to get the hang of it all. one last question, if i do sell some options (that is actually what i want to do) can i put stop loss in? i see various "limit" and so on functions there. which one do you use? and also are you using it for equity or indices or something else?

ps. are you US based? it is rare to find option traders.
