Who can code an MT4 bot for me?

I tried hiring someone on Elance but they don't seem too knowledgeable on there. Can anyone code an MT4 bot according to my parameters on the DAX? Payment would be the system itself, of course. I'm 600pts up over the pas year, which doesn't sound like much but because it's pretty robust, it means I can raise the £/pt.

The only way is to learn yourself, than you can alter and get a decent feel for it.

Ahh, ok. I am more into real money systems rather than theoretical money systems.

If you ever get to a stage of making real pips but your coder is too weak, I will be happy to help.

The rule-set has gone through 7 iterations so far.

I'm not sure what the difference is when it's a hands off robot either way, but thanks anyway.

Oh, you meant learn coding myself. Yeah, that's like asking a caveman to work MS Excel . I'm better at understanding end products than making them. That's just my skillset and I try to keep to my strengths.

I wanted some MT4 coding a while back and someone suggested I went to freelancer. I imagine it's similar to the site you used, but my experience was the complete opposite to yours. I found a chap - in India as it turns out - who did exactly what I wanted, on time and well within budget. I've since been back to him direct and had the same experience. Suffice to say, I'm very impressed. I don't know if his skills extend to doing what you require but, if your other leads don't pan out, it might be worth getting in touch with him. There are a couple of programmes on MT4 that look quite good when back tested but have draw downs that are probably too big. They are Hotpoint and Harvest Cabbage.
When the authors say it should be used on specific pairs then I think one can assume that they have been optimised for just those pairs. When really a robust system should work on any pair imho.

I have 2 systems lined up for testing on a demo account on Monday. So roll on Monday.

There is a book on programming for MT4. I will try and find it's name if anyone is interested. Ah if only I had bought it years ago.
