I was surprised to see that futures trading have the top 2 spots. The crowd I trade with are mainly European stock day traders and then come US open we switch to S&P/DOW. There is often a mix of FTSE/DAX trading as well during UK market hours. A few only trade US futures. European stocks barely scraped third place which suprised me as this is a .co.uk traders board.
Maybe time for a 'where are you from' poll to be put up.
It is amazing to think more trade the US than UK on a uk based website, but it is convenient to trade the US. So although most of the T2W are from the UK, their chosen market is the US. 😕
spreads as low as "real" forex brokers
easy to open an account
no spread bet bias as with many other SB instruments (D4F prices are almost always the same as the "real price")
able to trade in small amounts (min £1 per point)
able to trade other instruments from same account.
This is not an advert for D4F but I genuinely believe that forex is the one instrument you can trade with SB that does not suffer bias/ wider spreads often associated with SB's. (At least with D4F anyway- can't comment on any other SB co's for forex as I've never used any others).

Nicely summed up. steal4free has got a few good points and the forex market is one of them. The lack of significant bias is a big factor for me
