Which is safest--stocks, forex or cryptos?

For a newbie to trading, which is the safest to trade?
Let's assume we're defining 'safe' as the least riskiest, and 'risk' as a measure of volatility. Then it all depends on the amount of leverage you're using. Unleveraged - clearly FX is safest and crypto most volatile. Leveraged - any one of those three could be the riskiest.

Like @Quantt says, if it's safe you're after then go for a globally diversified ETF or fund and don't look at it for 10 years; or better still, stick to a paper trading account and then it's safe to trade all three. Your risk of losing money, if you prefer to define it that way, is zero!

yeah, it being unleveraged i would say (from less risky to risky), it would be: FOREX, STOCK then CRYPTO. but it would be really subjective, but so far crypto is still the most volatile.

It all depends on your knowlege and skills. The better your risk/reward ratio is and the more distributed the risk is the safer you are. This won't matter what and how you invest in or trade.
