I have taken out a free and indefinate demo at Oanda. Looks good

in using alpari its ok but not goodd for scalping

what is wrong with it ?

Aren't they Russian ?

I am liking Oanda. I have worked out how to set up decent templates. Saves a lot of bother.

Currently I am using Alpari(UK) for MT5 real a/c and AAAFX for MT4 for demo

I'm trading with Hotforex and everything look good. Give it a try if you want to find more brokers :)

Ninja is the limiting factor here, namely broker support.
Boils down to: NinjaTrader stock, futures and forex charting software and online trading platform. NinjaTrader Partners.

Depends on whether its FX or futures really.
FX, I'd say IB or MB.
Futures choice is wider, IB, AMP, MIRUS, MB, Velocity.

LMAX is another good FX choice, standard LMAX platform is fine for most purposes.
If you want another LMAX front end:
Multicharts free:MultiCharts .NET Starter Edition
Sierra:LMAX Trading Service - Sierra Chart
Its still unclear whether NT8 will support LMAX.

Good point. At the time I hadn't decided between the two.

Hi,

Personally I use MT4, but only because I am involved in many mql4 projects. There are plenty of Ninja programmers so that is not a big advantage of MT4. However MT4 could be much easier for newbies. Totally NinjaTrader is way better of course if you are serious about forex.

I find with US stuff they are forever trying to squeeze more money out of their customers with broker's fees, add-ons, upgrades etc.
So I went the MT4/5 route too.

Can't find a profitable EA but still trying

I would like to add an extra requirement and that is what EAs or help do they offer. Alpari offers market analysis and tracking of other players for instance.
