which broker has the tightest pips with gbp

I was wondering if you could recommend me the best forex brokers with the base currency gbp.

I am a total newbie and i am looking for some recommendations.

If you mean to refer to crosses of GBP then FXCBS is the the one with tightest spreads

I'd recommend Oanda and EFX, however you have to realize that low spreads can sometimes be misleading because the broker will make up for this by charging a high carry spread. This may not be an issue if you are an intraday trader except for Oanda since they do continuous interest rate netting.

A newbie in the UK has to consider spreadbetting - gains are tax free. Try IG or CMC or Capital Spreads or all three. Take out a demo account and have fun. Spreads are all the same mostly.
