What, no intraday Data

Hi Everyone,

this is my first posting and confess to being new to trading and spread betting -yep another one!

Anyway, I've been doing some research on getting historical data to try back testing of different trading methods. My question is, why can't I find historical intraday data ? I can find plenty of sources of EOD. Just curious!

I've seen plenty of opinions on using historical data as well. Which is duly noted.

do you mean free intra-day data?

if so, 7 mins of intra-day data takes up the same space as 7 days of eod data - hence there is a lot of intra-day data to store in comparison to daily

but if you are prepared to pay for it - you can have what you want

yes, intraday was what I mean't. Do you know the best source I could go to to get this data?
