What is the most important?
regulation?
spreads?
execution?
instruments?
deposit withdrawals
For me, regulation, security and a
longstanding reputation for integrity and reliability are so important that they probably outweigh everything else.
Spread, execution and instruments are also relevant. So are several other issues.
Deposit withdrawal methods, in these anti-money-laundering regulatory days, are perhaps less significant since the primary constraints about this are inevitably legal/regulatory. Reliability and speed, of course, are still significant.
In conversations of this kind, people are inevitably trying to rank "in order of importance" things which are so important that
all of them have to be "right" anyway, to justify using a broker. And once
all of them have to right, it seems to me that their relative order of importance becomes more or less academic.
