What is the long-term?

This is probably based on each individual trader but I've wondered what exactly is the long term? What about medium term or short term?

Can 3 months be my long term? Does the long term have to be years?
Medium term 1 month?
Can my short term be 1 trading week?

"They" say you can be a winner in the long term. They say the "long term trend".

What exactly is the long term?

it all depends on who is trading. To an equity trader, 3 months may as well feel as 4 hours to a spread better

It depends on the trader/investors, we have to figured it out ourselves. For day traders, 2 weeks might consider long-term for them but short term for position traders.
