Putting Vortex Capital Group on the radar for anyone here looking at equity prop firm opportunities.
Background: We're a real equity proprietary trading firm. Not an evaluation-challenge model — a traditional prop arrangement with real capital and real infrastructure.
The specifics:
Platform: Sterling Trader Pro — DMA, Level 2, hotkey-based execution, full route selection. If you've used Sterling before, you know what this means. If you haven't, it's the platform standard at serious equity prop shops.
HTB Access: Multiple locate vendor relationships. Short sellers who trade HTB names know that single-desk borrow access is a hard ceiling. We've built around multiple vendors to solve this.
Low ADV Trading: Permitted. Small-cap, micro-cap, low-float names.
Smart Routes: Access to elite routing for execution optimization.
Payout: 80/20 in your favor, monthly.
We're looking for:
- Equity day traders (not futures-only or forex-only)
- At least several months of demonstrated consistent trading
- Traders with a defined strategy — tape reading, momentum, short-side, gap trading
- People who are profitable or near-profitable and know their execution quality is the ceiling
