Valuation Ratios

What method do u use to put a valuation on shares that either have earnings or not? Most used ratio used is probaly PE. When would u consider a share cheap or over priced?

I would never use PE, May glance at it but never use it.

My favourite and most happy hunting ground is usually a mixture of several. I.e. good dividend yeild, well covered and with a strong balance sheet.

Also will hunt for companies with High RoE and strong balance seet which is "Clean".
