Has anyone ever been caught by an intervention spike and had a stop nailed, if so what was the slippage like, if any?

I was in Japan in 2007.. exchange rate = 1 USD to 122 JPY... I went in 2008 = 1 USD = 100 JPY... I am going in a few weeks, now it's at 1 USD = 76 JPY... Sad to see what the USD can't buy 🙁
