That's misinformation of the highest order right there. The only thing I trust the BBC to report accurately and without bias are football results. The last time the BBC achieved just a single day of 'factual reporting due to proper sourcing of information' was probably sometime in the mid 1980s. Decades of relentless deception have earned the organisation its nickname: British Brainwashing Corporation'!
😉
Forgive me for going off-topic - but this story is gaining traction and is a perfect example of what I was referring to in the post quoted and why we can't trust fact checkers and the BBC. . .

Fair point R_L - as you say, I completely missed that!

Hi Histo'
The fact checkers don't but, in a way, the BBC does! At the height of the scamdemic, they set up BBC Verify: ". . . a specialist team of journalists using open-source intelligence (OSINT), satellite imagery, data analysis and forensic techniques. They fact-check information, verify video, counter disinformation, and analyse data to separate fact from fake, and to bring clarity on complex issues." In reality, they do almost the exact opposite, poring scorn on anyone who dares to tell the truth, e.g. about the ineffectiveness of face masks and how unsafe the 'vaccines' are. The very department set up to separate facts from conspiracy theories went out of its way (and still does) to suppress the truth and promote misinformation and lies. Hence, amongst people like me, it's become known as 'BBC Vilify'. It's a very sorry state of affairs.
🙁

Back to Ukraine . . .

Many of us on this thread have argued for a good 18 months now - even two years or more - that Russia would win this conflict and that there was absolutely nothing that NATO and the west could do to stop them, short of a nuclear conflict in which everyone loses. Those on here (and in the west generally) who refused to accept this reality must, surely, now concede this result. If this thread were to be closed right here, then there's no one better than Prof. John Mearsheimer to encapsulate the folly of the past three years and reflect on where, why and how NATO and the west got everything so disastrously wrong. The monologue below should be required viewing/listening for every western politician and any liberal neocon who believes in the utter futility and fantasy of the so-called 'rules-based international order' - lead by the U.S. Those days are over, thankfully, That said, sadly, it may be many more years before something better, safer and more stable emerges - and I fear it will take a lot of upheaval and more bloodshed to get there. Enjoy . . .
