Hi all
I have £100k or so in preserved pensions (i am 42) which I can't legally get my hands on and I wondering if there was a way I could transfer my benefits into a SIPP and trade with it also having a normal brokerage a/c.
One a/c would be long (normal a/c) the other short (SIPP a/c). I was thinking along the lines of doing carry trades and some form of retrieval if I was stopped out - the idea being that the worst case would be moving money from my cash a/c into my SIPP if I blow up!
Any ideas and suggestions for brokers/platforms or other methods for doing this would be much appreciated.
PS: IB wont let me go short on my SIPP otherwise I would consider using them
Many thanks
