Trading weather anyone?

Hi all,

I have recently started looking into trading weather and found one company specialised in weather derivatives. I am not experienced whatsoever BUUUT: the now came up with virtual accounts to purchase weather derivatives on like rain and temperatures in various countries and since I won't be risiking any real cash I just opened an account. Thought I'd share it here.

jep, am in UK but born German. No connection with Switzerland really. In the financial markets i only have traded stocks and warrants.

no real interest but came across the accounts and gave it a shot. I think its brilliant! and with the weather going all crazy lately this could have potential. Will keep you informed about my performance. LOL.

Trading Weather Derivatives is really risky, make sure you know what you are getting into.

Hi there,

sure. I mean for now its only test accounts and so I wont lose any real money. If I was to bet proper cash I'd ofc make sure to get the best info available. However, have to say that I believe weather derivatives will get more and more important. I can literally think of tons of business which are weather dependent.
On their website they have listed quite cool examples.

So who is in for a little weather bet ? I am exciteeeeed!!!!!!
