Anyone here use tradestation for backtesting?

How much does it cost per month? (presumably this includes all the historical data also?)

Are there any other one off fees associated with it?

Is there a minimum contract length?

All i'm looking to do with it is backtesting?

I use it for trading and backtesting. This link gives you the fee structure

So if you are not interested in the brokerage it will cost you between $250 and $300 per month for the platform for 27 years of historic intraday data.

If you want real-time data as well you will need to pay the appropriate exchange fees.

The optional extras radarscreen , portofolio maestro and option trader are probably not needed if you only want the data.

If you use the brokerage you can get all this free (apart from real-time exchange fees) provided you make $5000 of trades per month (or equivalent as shown on the website)
