Traders' Soliloquy

To trade, or not to trade: that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer,
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take Arm's Trin against a sea of troubles.

The boy stood on the burning deck
Whence all but he had fled;
The flame that lit the mercat's wreck
Shone round him o'er the dead....

It you can meet with win and loss,
And treat those two events just the same,
Yours is the mindset, and which is more,
You'd have mastered your ego, my son.

It matters not who won or lost; but how you played the game, ........ but how you played the game.

Soft, what flashing light from yonder application breaks,
Tis a margin call beast, and my trading account is done.

“If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs“
........... maybe you just don`t understand the situation!

Courtesy of John Cheers:

I have a trade it looks to be
rock solid, done, a deal for me
the line is running on my way
so sure, secure, in how I trade

What happend? God Bernake spoke?
my events calendar must be broke
maybe its just a whiplash thing
I’m sure the world will right agaian

C’mon go back this can’t be right
I watched the set up near all night
ok relax its comming back
no need to have a panic attack

oh great it just sits there now
50 pips down I wonder how..
Asia soon to come online
I’m sure its going to be fine

OMG What are they thinking?
50 more not even blinking
Take a breath the stops in place
can’t pick the horses in a race

I could have closed this once up 30
now 100 down and feeling dirty
maybe I should move my stops
reset, retry, at a new top

No No i’ve done that i know better
it sure looks stalled and a bit fettered
its closing in, 2 pips to go
its now or never for the show

clik click, click click, quotes offline
if only I’d made London time
well it took me out it can’t be stopped
whats that? its turned about the top?

Its running like a scalded cat
just 1 pip past and going back
falling falling holy crap
its made my take profit
how about that

how could I have been so close
yet ended up with results morose
it must have been my brokers hands
no way that I’d sink in the sands

And so you see a traders life
one buy one sell, one filled with strife
to jamie, sean, gerry and adam (greg now too)
Tomorrow we’ll be up and at ‘em.

The Grand old Duke of York
he had ten thousand long
it marched right up to the top of the hill
and it marched right down again
and when it was up he got greedy
and when it was down it downed further

The Grand old Duke of York
he had five thousand left
and it wouldn't march up
but it did march down
and the grand old duke is dead.

Martingales' Soliloquy

If at first you don't succeed,
Double down again.

(I REALLY dont recommend this by the way)
