Toss You for it

random is a dumb explanation used by idiot traders who dont understand and cant handle uncertainty so they use this word to explain what they dont know

OK 13 - Obviously you DO understand and you CAN handle uncertainty and furthermore, you do have an explanation for uncertainty that is (a) not dumb and (b) not random.

I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting for you to expound.

Ibet,
Don't wish to criticise your name but isn't the original expression : Softly, Softly, catchee monkey suggest more cunning than slowly slowly which suggests laziness ?

You mean there's a second Monkey out there?

Perhaps slowly slowly is more aposite to my acquisition of TA and trading skills....not through laziness but through time taken to make the necessary mistakes, and learn enough from them to head straight for other quantum leap mistakes

It's because I cherish a secret hope that the markets aren't entirely random that I persist with applying statistical and TA methods to them..of course any run of results convinces me that I'm right.......but then any run of coin tosses makes me wonder......
