Unless I've incorrectly set my demo s/w on DAE, QT etc, there doesn't sem to be any indication on the T&S window for 'who' is transacting.

However, there have been a number of posts which suggest it's possible to identify who the buyer/seller is - particularly in regard to MM playing games.

Is there any way to id the players on T&S?

T&S does not show who has made the transaction but if GSCO, for example, is the only player on the inside bid showing size of 100 and your T&S shows a series of 100 transactions at the bid then the buyer must be GSCO.

Whereas those without L2 will take those transactions as selling, we know it is buying by GSCO who may have a large order to manage and may be worth shadowing. On the other hand, if INCA is on the other side of the screen GSCO may be attempting to massage the price up by pretending to be a buyer when in fact he has a large sell order to dump when the price reaches a suitably high level.
