Hello, I typically trade and hold for any where from a few days to a few months...
I pick strong company's with decent fundamentals and then look for entrance and exits base one different technical s and look my profits in along the way with stop loss orders.

I look at day charts (candle stick) with a time frame of 3 to 4 months...

am i using the correct time frame for using RSI or Stochastics, MACD etc?

and for looking at patterns like Head and Shoulders and Triangles?

thanks for any guidance

I would say yes.
